Hello, so it’s been awhile between blogs, yes I know about time. Sorry. It’s certainly not because I haven’t anything to show you… I’ve got loads. And loads.
So many amazingly beautiful people to introduce you to, so many stories to share.
But this one is about Jen & Tim. You may have met Jen & Tim before, their beautiful wedding was recently posted on Queensland Brides Blog & also featured in the Queensland Brides Magazine. But I just thought there was so much more to share with you all.
In truth though, and I’ve more than likely said this before but I do find blogging terribly difficult, and this is mostly why it takes me so long to do a post. I know my words can never do justice to how incredibly magical this day was for Jen & Tim, for their families & friends or how I can tell you how perfect these two are for each other. To me these two go together like toffee & apple. Perfectly wholesome on the inside & just sweet as can be. So a little lost, I tried to get a helping hand off Jen, I asked if there was anything she wanted to say… she said “I don’t think there’s anything else to tell you about the day. Actually I think you saw it all!” Ahh yes indeed, I did see it all! And well here is a just a snippet…
Some details from Jen::
Ceremony location: Graceville Uniting Church, Brisbane | Reception location: Marquee at bride’s aunty and uncle’s home | Gown: Hilde Heim | Wedding bands and engagement rings: McKims Jewellery Design |Hair: Kiera Leigh Hair and Beauty | Hair piece/fascinator or hat: Tessa Kim Veils and Accessories | Bridesmaid dresses: Alfred Sung | Groom’s suit: Rhodes and Beckett | Groomsmen’s suits: Rhodes and Beckett | Make-up: MKB Artistry | Flowers: Divine Flowers | Stationery: Red Wax Invitations | Cake: Cakestar | Music: Bride and groom’s own playlist | Transport: A Classic Benz Honeymoon: Spain and New York
My favourite detail was our lovely handmade bird bride and groom cake toppers. It was the first thing I bought after we got engaged and they were a big inspiration in theming the rest of the wedding. The funniest moment, would have to be the best man splitting his pants on the dance floor! During our first dance the best man with six of our close friends surprised us by performing our first dance song with ukuleles. It was so special. Tim and I will never forget it.
Special thanks to Timothy – thank you for never giving up on me and always making me laugh. And Mum – thank you for helping me create my dream wedding.
