Every once in a while you meet a person, or be it two people, who shift the way you see the world. Showte & Murray are two such people that unequvoically will do this to you.
I was so excited about this wedding before there was even a wedding. Yep. What? Before a wedding? Yep. In fact the first time I met Showte & Murray was at the very lovely Elley & James’ wedding in The PhotoBooth. I didn’t even know that a wedding was on the cards. But in rather matter of fact way, I told Showte & Murray that I wanted to photograph their wedding… lucky for me then that marriage was on the cards.
Showte & Murray are two beautiful spirited souls, so full of love for each other & full of love to give to those around them. Showte & Murray are well & truly wise beyond their years, so incredibly comfortable with the people that they are, and are not afraid of giving all they are to all they know.
Something that stuck with me about these two beautiful people, their wonderful family and their close friends, was their generosity. Which is really giving all who you are, and is really has little to do with what you give. The act of giving surely does always give back.
Showte had put so much love, time & energy into this day. And so it was one of her big hopes that the sun would shine warmly on this April Fools Day, and it did. And well nearly everything else went to plan too… Nearly. Well except Showte’s dress getting caught on a wire fence & tearing before the ceremony! Yep that’s right you did read her dress tore before the ceremony. Did this bother Showte? Nope. She just continued to smile her beautiful smile and everything was perfect. Because at the end of it all, on your wedding day there is nothing more perfect than knowing you are about to marry your one & only true love.
Well I have been sitting on this blog for far too long now. Stuck. Not so sure I could tell you just who Showte & Murray are, and what this wedding meant. But in the end I think it’s really less about the words and more about their wedding story in pictures…
